There's an interactive map on the BBC weather site and it looks like only the Tea session will cop the heaviest rain. Monday's almost a washout.

Manchester is a crap shoot at the best of timed weather wise.

Our best chance is to run through them twice.

If one of them breaks down what difference does it make if we draw or lose? We can bring Bird or Faulkner in for a dead rubber.

Decision will most likely be out of hands anyway, so hopefully we have a 190 lead rather than 90, get a quick 150 and declare. Bowlers rest a bit, and we bowl went into hopefully a difficult day 5 deck

Lyon must step up today. Winning rests on his shoulders. If he doesn't get wickets he is not the long term answer. It'll be yet another test win he has cost us.

Where's the Big Show when we need him?

That big bag of tricks sure would come in handy on this pitch.

Lyon started well, hopefully he can find an edge.

Prior is the worry, the merkin normally scores quick. we need lyon to clean up the tail like a good spinner does.

yeah same thing as having an ice bath and a massage and putting the feet up for 2-3 hours I guess

You mean like they would have done last night? Or that they will do again during the lunch break?

They're professional athletes, they should be fit enough to bowl for extended periods.

That shot of Rogers makes me think they were never going to enforce the follow on. He's not wearing his glasses which he usually does in the field. Almost like he was anticipating a quick change and didn't want to stuff around putting his contacts in.

Why the f**k is Lyon bowling around the wicket to the right hander. He's only eliminating modes of dismissal AND avoiding the rough from Starcs footmarks.
