Malinga doesn't bend his arm, he just doesn't bring it over the top and bowls with his are parallel to the ground.

Got me buggered how he keeps the seam upright.

not up to CA, its the WACA that call the shots on this one

So, do Adelaide Oval, Gabba, SCG, Blundstone Arena and MCG call the shots on matches held at their venues? Was last Sunday's match broadcasted into Melbourne (even though it got only 29000 ppl)? Also, wouldn't Ch9 want to maximise their tv ratings by broadcasting into all 5 metros?

I guess so, I'm only going off what the commentators said, the WACA wouldn't allow the full game to be televised because it wasn't a sell out

The Doctor must be strong this arvo..

That McKay dismissal looked six off the bat..

There were a couple by Christian that did exactly the same..Dropped sharply just before the boundary, after looking clean 6's off the willow..

I guess the Sri Lankans will get to see just how good our bowlers really are

Ok, thanks for your help Twizzle.

Btw, is it my imagination or not that the capacity of the WACA been reduced? I'm 99% sure it used to regularly get 25000+ for ODIs back in the '90s, so when they had the test vs India last month and they said it was a sellout, yet the figure was about 17000 or so, I was a bit surprised.
