There is no pressure to score runs quickly in test cricket unless in the rare run chase on the final day although usually by the time Johnson is in that would be reduced to trying to save the game
You can take as long as you like and leave balls as you like.
Are you trying to tell me they are the same game and have the same expectations when the final batsmen came in?
Idiot.
:lol::lol: Are you still going? Now you're qualifying your previous wrong statement, I see....
Here are the stats you failed to provide;
ODI
Inns-19 including today
Minutes batted...0-10=9
10-20=8
20+=2
Of those, the two times he has batted 20 minutes or more, have been his two best scores
Balls faced...0-10=14
10-20=3
20-30=0
30+=1
He has never faced more than 31 balls. When he did face 31 balls, he scored 24 not out
Overs he has entered the crease...
20-30=0
30-40=2
40-50=17
The two times he has been in prior to the 40th over, the side has been bowled out before the 50th. One of those innings is his best score. All 17 of his other innings have been in the final ten overs, and 14 of those 17 in the 45th or later. He has had 2 innings with more than 10 overs left, has been undefeated in one and built a good score. Other than that, he has never had the chance to bat more than 5-10 overs
So how do you know that his ability doesn't convert? His technique is excellent, he has the ability to score runs as we've seen with 2 test match and 4 FC 50's....and you rubbish him based on stats you didn't bother to understand
Essentially, he was a handy excuse for your Victorian boys sub-par performance
