Hussey 81 no from 82 balls, and only 4 boundaries

Makes you wonder we may be 40-50 runs short here, as you dont have hit boundaries to do a run a ball.

India need 230 to win

Siddle and Mitch look pretty ineffective on this pitch. Leads me to think Hauritz may have been a better option to open the bowling?

And why on earth did the selectors pick Holland for the squad if he wasn't going to play in one of the more spin friendly pitches?

Good come back from Mitch he went for 12 in his first over. He really needs to get out of this rut he is in. Need more cheap wickets the pitch is not a 230 pitch.

Because they need Johnson for his batting and they werent game to play 5 bowlers with Manou as keeper

solid starts by bollinger and henriques

india 2/52 - 14 overs

another wicket or two would put the cat amongst the pigeons

Well we are about to be thrashed, our bowling lacks the strike power. Siddle is bowling accurately but isn't taking the wickets while Johnson isn't taking enough wickets.

India should take this comfortably.

Ah well, at least we got the Champion's trophy before everyone started to break down.

Our batting is the problem IMO. The India bowling is not that good our batting is just weak and doesn't make the runs the bowlers need. Also the selectors continue to wreck every chance we have by selecting clowns. Bollinger bowled well good to see him get a go. Moises did ok but I still would not have him around the sqaud unless he proves himself more.

Agree, we have too many batters that are nudgers with an attacking streak. Watson, Marsh, Voges, White. Warner or someone like him needs to be brought into the side to bring some aggression. We need guys that can score quickly against the spinners, Ferguson was perfect in that and also scoring with a SR of 100.

I'd also liek to add that we are playing a full strength Indian outfit whilst we are misssing several of our topline players. Ferguson, Clarke, Haddin, Bracken and Lee are all in out top side.

our bowling is crap, without Bollinger India would have won it with 10 overs to spare

I think we really need someone like Warner at the top of the order

We only lost 5 wickets in this game, If he got out early it wouldnt have done anything to the end scoreline. If he got going, add another 40-60 runs to our total

No fear factor in our batting, Roy,Hayden and Gilly are long gone. Bring in Warner who is the only one likely.
