Ponting opening the batting? Very interesting

Dont see what is wrong with the team, only real choice was Marsh or Voges

Bull crap Moises should not be in the side, Marsh should have opened. Our battign now looks brittle.

No he shouldnt be over there, but given the squad that is then he had to play, the bowling was lacking the other day with not enough options and they need a power hitter down the order

They have plenty of options it was just that all the bowlers got smoked... Why don't we just select a team full of all rounders. Power hitter, Johnson is the best power hitter going around

They didnt have plenty of options, Watson and Voges had to bowl 10 between them, not an ideal situation and left Ponting with no one to turn to when Hilfenhaus and Johnson were getting smashed

Anyway I notice Hopes running around with the drinks, might be back for the next game

You guys are being too harsh on Henriques...he did make that epic 43 once

He has talent but no way should he be playing for Australia just yet. He is basically in the same boat Watson was when he got selected for Aus but Watson had far better first class form.

might not need henriques, maybe only in the last few overs as a hitter, which could be a good thing to ease him into it, nothing to lose so to speak, 20/20 game mode really

f**k. Bad Luck for White. That didn't get close to the bat.

EDIT - Thought snicko shows otherwise.

Hahaha, they are trying to put something on snicko, the stump cam shows daylight between bat and pad

BTW why the hell is there 2 Indians umpiring this series? Obviously something happened to Benson before the first match but surely by game 3 they could find a replacement? The Champions League umpires were probably all still there when Benson pulled out

the wicket is slower than the other two games, so runs are harder to get
Punter reckons 220-230 would be a good score

Hope we get over 250 though

Just remember this is the same ground that Victoria and NSW played the majority of their Champions League matches at, they said back then they had laid a new pitch this year hoping it would be ready for the World Cup in 2 years time, so its not a great pitch

Henriques gone. Hussey really needs to hit a few fours and sixes in these last few overs, he's been very good up until now though. How can his one day form be so good, yet his test form be so bad?
