Finch is the stereotype of the bad modern player tbh. At least most of these blokes are still moving their feet.

I was reading in the paper that its pretty strongly rumoured hes about to lose the t20 captaincy to Smith.

Not surprising, makes dropping him easier from t20 side in the future should they choose to do so (despite Finchs runs against India in T20), but I actually meant from the odi side.

I thought it'd be 2-1, hoped it'd be to us - not going to happen

I'm still hopeful of the tests, but the bottom line is we're a shadow of the team from 12 mths ago - Boult's not right, Taylor and McCullum out or not right, Southee hurt, Neesham out, Anderson is Anderson, Watling's form has dropped...

Sounds like whinging, probably is, we don't have the depth to handle it, and at the end of the day, Australia are simply great at cricket - and tbh I think we choke against them, Hadlee era aside

NZ are pretty good tbh.

I mentioned on another forum that poor old Boult is going to be crushed by expectations if he can never get the swing back. Lots of bowlers have just lost it through injuries before.

We'll know first spell in the tests.

Seam has been comming out straight but far too angled which leads me to believe it most likely be his wrist position now that he has his pace back.

It can be a lot of things tbh. Just as simple as a tiny change to his action. I mean Brett Lee had a pretty solid career but he was much better at swinging the ball as a younger man.

EDIT

I like Boult mind...just something I have noticed from kiwi fans. Fast bowling is extremely difficult. It is very easy for things to go wrong.

Not sure why Bailey thought that was worth a challenge...should have told Smith straight up that was out when he asked.

lmao watsonesque.

You could see Smith ask him if it pitched outside leg...it pitched on middle.
