Cant see Australia losing this one, unless the top order play recklessly like they did in NZ

Starts 2.30pm AEDT FRIDAY

We will have to be at our best here, Pakistan more than capable of ending our tournament.

Pakistan definitely capable of ending any teams tournament when they're on. However I think Australia will account for them easily in this match as long as Warner and finch build a solid base to start off with

Im confident that Warner,Smith,Clarke,Faulkner,Haddin can perform under this knockout pressure and equally confident that Finch,Watson and Maxwell will choke.

Pakistan's only real chance is the bowlers running through Australia's batting.
Shouldn't happen.

well, one of their key bowlers has been ruled out

http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc-cricket-world-cup-2015/content/story/851293.html

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Irfan has been ruled out of the World Cup with a stress fracture of the pelvis. Pakistan's team management will call for a replacement only if the team wins Friday's quarter-final, against Australia in Adelaide, according to a PCB release.

The release said Irfan had undergone an MRI scan on Monday afternoon, which showed a stress injury of the pelvis but did not reveal the specifics. Pakistan's physiotherapist, Brad Robinson, then ordered a more detailed scan, which was done on Tuesday and confirmed a stress fracture

I'm relatively confident of winning this, especially if we bat first. Don't rate them chasing at all.

If they get a semi decent score batting first there could be trouble, although their bowling attack is pretty understrength now.

I think we're better, i'm still a little worried if we have to rebuild under the ressure of decent bowling though, especially if both Clarke and Smith have been dismissed.

And as I said in another thread, I just got a ticket to the semi final, better bloody win this

Pakistan's strength is in the bowling. Australia's is in the batting.

Should be an interesting match.

I posted inthe other thread that I got my tickets tothe SCG semi last year.

Some bloody nervous moments vs Sri Lanka and Scotland to make sure we finished 2nd in the pool and not 3rd.

Now just need the boys to knock off the Paki's!

I hope you didn't get one of the $275 tickets if Australia end up losing today:lol:
$140. Not too bad. Just a few weeks ago there were plenty of $95 ones available, would've been good to grab one of those, but i'm pretty happy with where I am sitting.

Can resell my ticket if I want to as well, but i reckon and India/Pakistan final would be pretty good atmosphere also.
