3rd Test: Australia v India at MCG Dec 26-30 2018 - INDIA WON BY 137 RUNS

The Indians know how to bat like test batsmen. The pitch was dead early but soon the uneven bounce started and they patiently occupied the crease and accumulated runs. We have nobody capable of getting a 300 ball century. That is a different kind of skill from going at 4 an over. We are not winning this test. At best we can bat out time, but recent history suggests that will not happen either.

Im not a Warner fan at all, but the other two blokes are every bit as responsible for the Cape Town bullshit.
I'l slot Smith and Warner (despite him playing shit away) straight back in on the weight of past performances. If those two merkins cannot get along, f**k off the troublemaker.

I found it weird that Ponting and Slater piled onto Bancroft “for trying to protect his brand”, but not a word mentioned about Smith throwing Sutherland and “Ol’ Mate what’s-his-name” under the bus with the comments of Smith being told “We don’t pay you to play, we pay you to win”.

I’m pretty sure Sutherland wouldn’t have finished the comment with “by any means necessary, including cheating”. So that shit is still on Smith. So why the comment at all if not still trying to pass the buck.

This whole character “re-build” of Smith is cloying in the least.

It’s pretty easy for Smith to come out and say that shit now after Sutherland is gone. But it does smack of Smith still not taking responsibility.

For mine, Smith has come out of this looking like a total bitch. That image of him whimpering in the press conference was pathetic, but Ponting was on tv yesterday saying Smith should be next in line for captaincy.

If they make Smith the Australian captain again it would show that they haven’t learnt anything from this whole fiasco.

F*ck me, has there ever been a more self referential commentator than Shane Warne? The number of times he starts a sentence with "As I said..."

Yes, lol at anyone who mentions the word brand when referring to a person. Is this who we refer to individuals these days?
