Because Viv Richards is one of the great batsman of all time and David Warner has just started his career.:? Nathan Astle owns the record for the quickest double century of all time but doesn't mean he is compared to some of the greatest batsmen of all time. Its all very pre mature, just like the Phil Hughes hype. That guy scored two hundreds in his first series against better attacks, away from home. And look where he is now. Judgement on Warner should be a bit more reserved.

You still don't get it. The comparisons were made due to his style of play and the fact that he came close to beating his record. But remind everyone to check with you before making comparisons in future. Wouldn't want to upset you any further.

BTW

The last Australian opening pair to score 200 was Jacques and Katich v West Indies in 2008.

I can't wait for the South Africa v New Zealand series. Hallatia crying and loving her team and certain kiwis talking up the great Adam Parore. Should be riveting stuff.

:lol:his style opf play? Guy is an attacking batsmen no doubt, so every attacking batsmen now has a bit of Viv Richards in them? I've seen a lot of Richards batting and there is hardly any similarities bar both of them being attacking batsmen.

Cowan sort of looked like a bunny in the headlights there? He seemed confused "Bails off, thats not right?"

Big pressure on Marsh here. Playing at that rubbish isn't going to be helpful either.

Who the f**k is Arytur?

Ponting should just move back to first drop for the rest of his career which can't be too long.
