The Parramatta River is the arsehole of the world.

Nothing on the might Nepean.
I would say the S-bend, but no one goes to visit Paris for the Seine or London for the Thames. Just like no one goes to visit Penrith.

Should get decent overs in tomorrow, hopefully fully days play or close to it

Monday and Tuesday not looking flash, but that could improve by then

Draw is probably bad news for us, means India need a win in either of the final 2 tests to retain the trophy. Outside the Michael Clarke 329* game I can’t remember us beating India in Sydney.

Monkeygate match were Clarke took 3 wickets in the 2nd last over in 2008 we beat them.

They brought up a stat in the NZ game today Australia at the SCG is the equal longest unbeatable streak in Test Cricket at a ground currently at 13 matches with a couple of grounds in India.

Australia haven't lost there since 2011.

I imagine though there is probably 5 or 6 draws in that 13 match span

Didn't know this: if less than 15 overs are bowled due to rain the fans get a full refund. So made it by 10 balls.

Forgot about Monkeygate - yes there’s always been a lot of draws there. Some more recently are down to weather (Saffas and England come to mind). Last 3 Sydney tests between us and India have been draws. 2021 India were firmly in control, the 2 prior were a little more even. If Brisbane is a washout then I think Boxing Day will be huge.

For us, I wouldn’t want to go into Sydney at 1-1.

Why can’t they play now? The lost a shitload of overs yesterday. Get on there as soon as you can.
