He is awful against starc. terrible footwork, tentative pushes. he looked okish against the other bowlers but he is clearly very concerned with starc bringing the ball back in to him

Any spinner worth his salt should be setting his own fields, especially with a nickname like the GOAT.

From the looks he is getting the fields he wants, as I said he is a very boring negative bowler these days that almost bowls medium pace.


That's better from Bird, he's looked better when he has been brought his length back and hit the wicket more.

He may not be getting wickets, but so far this innings he has tied up an end very well, allowing the quicks to do their thing.
