Gee Jayawardene looks in good touch. He could get a big score here if they don't collapse down there. And the other bloke is on 60 odd but doesn't look as good as Jaya.

Looking forward to wades keeping in india when we play two spinners.....on actual rank turners

Hadds was bad enough last time we toured..

He set the record for the most byes in both an innings & a test in that series..

Cam White bowling 4 foot outside leg stump didn't help..

Lyon was doing a beautiful job there for about 25 minutes,he was willing to go for a few to get a chance..

He get's the edge..

Scissorstard blows it..

Again..

The funny thing was Australia declared their first innings closed, it seemed impulsive to declare the moment Wade got his hundred

They could have scored another 30 runs with Wade

What was with that early declaration anyway??? If Wade scored a century isn't that some indication that SL openers/mid order, once they get in, are going to stay in!

Now hopefully that'll jinx one of the fu****S to get out!

agree mate, his last test as skipper will go out with 150, maybe 200plus imo

the kid at the other end could do something similar

this test will go deep into day 5 from what ive seen

SL 1/112 Only 26 behind

LOL in what universe was hayden a "flat track bully"?
Average of under 35 in South Africa, New Zealand and England, the areas it swings around most, with 3 tons in 24 tests in those regions. Average away from homer (42 average compared to 58 at home). Very good in India but and his couple of tests on neutral ground vs Pakistan.

Great opening partnership with Langer and a large part of our dominance in that era, but as a batsmen he loved nothing more than bullying weak opponents and would struggle as soon as the ball started moving around. Similar to Sehwag, basically.

It wasnt an early declaration, however they should have let Sri Lanka bowl them out

The declaration must have been brought on by the perceived momentum Clarke thought he had with the Siddle, Wade partnership and the Wade 100

Not accounting for the first innings bowling which seems to have happened

HOwever, Sri Lanka would have been bowled out for 45 if this all happened in Melbourne

Earlier I said these two could get 100 more (to get ahead) and then as a team they could get another 200 and set us a tough total of 200 to chase. I thought I was being silly. All of a sudden it looks on the cards, as a minimum of what they could do.
