I think the mentality of those who say he's such a bad captain is influenced by this record of Australia being used to winning every test match, so any mistake is harped upon mercilessly. The same is true of many fans of highly ranked sports teams, i.e. the Broncos slump and its time to sack Wayne Bennett. Imagine what would happen if we followed a struggling team like England? We might burn efugees of Freddy Flintoff :lol:

The bottom line is he's captaining well enough if we win test matches. If we lose or draw test matches we should win then I might join in with the Ponting bashing.
