Exactly. It's not unsportsmanlike IMO either. In Test match cricket you exploit weaknesses in footwork, technique etc...why should fitness be any different?

What will that achieve...hurt him again?

Bowl yorkers to him and make him use his arm's to push down and play at the ball...cause him discomfort hitting the ball. Then his reaction times to bring down the bat will slow and you'll get one under him and out bowled or LBW.
