152 in arrears. From a side 1-0 up that rolled india cheaply in the 2nd test, were about 3 down and 20 runs behind...to fall apart spectacularly. About to be 2-1 down with 3-1 a big chance. Superb work from straya!

Lol surprise surprise!
Warner is very close to copping some major criticism for his inability to bat overseas.

For me the selectors should seriously be considering dropping him for the next Test. How Khawaja hasn't got a bat this series boggles the mind.

In comes mr night watchman who hasn't scored any decent runs in over a year. Lyon truly is the myth with bat and ball.

Just put someone who can bat in ffs. Cricketers are way too superstitious and night watchmen are geniused. So what if he survives, then we've got some guy in tomorrow morning who can't bat putting pressure on the genuine bat. Whoopty f**king do.

Warner averaged 13 in NZ, 27 in Sri Lanka and about 20 this series.

It'd be a bit embarrassing for the vice captain and current AB medalist but we should just use him for home series

No idea why Lyon is night-watchman. The bald cone head looking mong was only spared the title of worst cricketer in the team thanks to the selectors continuing to pick Mitch Marsh.

Well, that would be a huge problem for LG and Gray Nicolls if he got dropped. No more lucrative sponsorships to flog tvs and ultra-thick cricket bats.

Haha you read my mind.
Also if you believe in the geniused night watchman theory, why start the innings with 8 overs to go with openers? Wouldn't you put some bowlers out to open in the first place, to protect all batsman not just first and second drop?

Having a night watchman is a superstitious relic that a modern coach should stop from occurring.

Didn't Bradman reverse the batting order in a test in a similar situation?

That is a much better tactic than a night watchman.
