The problem is although the media talk India v Australia up the Australian team under McDerp don't see this or any series as a big deal, just another match on the schedule to tick off and forget about.

The attitude was the same after the abysmal t20 WC showing.

Every test, especially, should be seen as cruel to win, not fobbed off as a learning exercise or just one of those things, or part of the process. Your representing Australia ffs, go out and play your cock off every game and f**k the process.
Attitude seems to be is at least we thrash teams at home. That's all that matters.

Its a pretty poor record since the series win in South Africa in 2014 we have only won 3 test series away from home since then in what you could call the Steve Smith/3 world class Fast Bowlers in (Starc/Cummins/Hazlewood) era. In which we should have won more.

Last year against Pakistan was the first series win away from home since 2016 in New Zealand. Then the previous one was the West Indies in 2015.

We have lost or drawn every other series abroad since 2014.

The world test championship final is set

It will be India v Australia played in England, regardless if we lose 0-4 here

Surely a ticket parade around the country if we win that trophy? 1677121733926.gif

I'm not sure what the capacity of the oval is but I'm assuming there'll be 678 million Indian fans there plus the random souffs guy and a drunken pom who thought England were playing. Soccer.

Around 27k.

I did a tour there when I was London in 2019.

Nice ground. Obviously not Lords but it's the test I suppose the London public have better access too.

As Lords is a lottery basically to get a ticket.
