Hmmm yeah not sure. I would have maybe batted for another hour to hour and half and tried to pile on another 100-150 and leave a good 10 overs to try pick up wicket or two.

I find 600+ scores generally excessive, a declaration now says we have made under 600 and we still think it's enough runs to roll you twice for. If it's not we have another innings under our sleeves, you guys have an uphill battle

run rate is quite high at the moment, but there has been plenty of chances. These two are the danger men. Get rid of them and we're feeling pretty confident

I am not going to get into an argument defending Sangakkara however. I think most people on here respect him for the great batsman he is.

Absolutley, Great bat, up there with the best of his generation. Sri Lankas best IMO, seems a great fella too.

Sri Lanka look likely to lose this Test and therefore the Series.

However it looks like young Chandimal will take a lot out of this series. He has gone toe to toe with the worlds best bowler on a couple of occasions now and hasn't backed down. This should hopefully be a good platform for him to launch a successful Test Career.

On another note, I have been impressed with the attendances for the first 3 days of this Test in Cape Town.
