this time feels so different its untrue....

previous times its all been about how awesome the aussies are......this time its been all about england....the fact that its lockyers last game has been "out media'd" by the england PR team who have pushed the fact that its mozza's 50TH test...we've had jamie peacock proclaiming that "they'll never hammer us again" in the national papers...theres been no negativity whatsoever about england which makes a change.....even garry schofield has kept his gob shut...

theres a real sense of self belief that i've never seen before....and i'm normally the cornerstone of belief when it comes to england RL

nope........not this time

anyway this thread is'nt here for you....your lot ain't good enough

Great.

When England played Australia they still seemed, for lack of a better word, unsure of themselves. Not scared like they have in the past, but even when they looked red hot, they rarely had any kind of swagger. Hope it's a classic.

Yeah the JT rumour came from Steve Mascord but about half an hour after I posted it he came back on and said it might not be true now. Im assuming we will only find out at about 5.30 tonight.

Biggest game in rugby league since 2008 as far as I'm concerned, and I really think England can give it a damn good shake. They've got the talent, they've got the crowd, I just hope they don't spontaneously combust like they seem to do, well, every single time.

Will England bottle it? They have the superior team IMO, you just get the feeling it's England's to lose.

My prediction:

Australia 36 - England 16

Poms will get off to good start with another Ryan Hall try.
Australia to hit back and lead 10 - 6 at half time.
Two tries early in 2nd half have Poms thinking they have finally got us.
26 unanswered points in 26 minutes sees Poms blown off park

But, seriously, I hope it is a tight game where either team could win it up to the last minute.

Now back to bed for 2 hours
