4 wins might do it

Having a look at the premiership table, 4 wins out of the last 6 games might sneak us into 8th spot.

The top 6 will be
Dragons
Bulldogs
Storm
Titans
Manly
Knights

I think there is a fair chance that Cowboys, Broncos and Tigers can finish on 28 points, with Panthers and Eels on 27.

With the run home the Tigers have, if we can beat Manly on Monday, then beat the teams coming last and second last (Roosters & Sharks) its possible we only need 1 more win against either the Eels, Titans or Bulldogs.

Or we could fall 1 win short like we do most years...

Knights are far from certain to make it. They'll struggle to win 2 more from here.

If we beat Manly, and win against the lowly teams, we'll get 6th.

I'm just hoping that Parramatta are absolutely dead and buried by the time we play them. They are in form at present - I'd hate to play them if they still have something to play for.

The Tigers and Newcastle will not make the 8. I'm not confident that we will either to be honest.

Thanx for your concern Avenger. IF the Wests Tigers win tonight, I think we`ll be in quite a good position to make the 8 "IF" we can remain injury free. Put it this way, there`s no side in the comp that the Wests Tigers can`t beat now we are back at full strength and with the right combinations in place. Tonight is the big test as I believe Manly is the side to beat, i`ve got no doubts we`ll give it to the Dragons again if it happens !

We have our For an Against on our side. A win tonight puts us in the top 8, irrespective of margin.

A loss keeps us in the hunt, but makes things bloody tough.

I wouldn't be too quick to consider our last 2 games as easy either. Sharks are getting some players back slowly and the Roosters recent win will give them a boost as well.

to be honest, I'd rather we were coming up against Brisbane and Warriors in the last two games now.

Sh*ts me we are at it again- fighting over the crumbs in a scramble for 8th spot. If only that damn stubborn man had made those changes a few weeks earlier (hindsight, my ars*- another gret Teflon quote to put up there in the pantheon of Teflon quotes like Morris the next Cooper Cronk).

Anyway, go the Weststigers- I reckon we will just fall short- but hope we dont.

The Knights are in 8th spot with 24 points. We'll still be a game outside the 8 if we win tonight

no. if we win tonight we'll be on 24 points, and our for and against record will be better than knights, thus we'll be in the 8.

A win tonight puts us in a great position but do you honestly see us beating Manly.

I did the finals calculator and 4 wins gets us there. 28 will be the bench mark.

If we lose tonight which we probably will I cant see us winning 4 of our last 5. I like how most people just write teh Titans game as a win.

EELS to me will make itl. All the momentum etc and I can just see them continuing there run. I dont think w will beat them and i only see them loosing 1 of there last 6.

Madunit we are on 20 points with a f/a of 19. If we win tonught we climb above parra & souths who are on 21 points and we would be ahead of the Broncos on f/a. We would join them on 22 points.

Newcastle are on 24 points. We could be in the eight next week if Newcastle lose to parra and we win against the Roosters.

my apologies, the ladder i was looking at had strangely added 2 points to both tigers and manly.
