8 years out of 60 odd that were good for Parramatta.

How many spoons does Parra have in their cupboard.

You're hardly a powerhouse or sporting a great record.

12 Spoons in the first 28 seasons

Real f**king spectacular

It wasn't until 1981 that you hit a 40% cumulative win percentage since 1947.

Yeah, you got heaps to brag about, a team that has never had a career win/loss record higher than 46%.

Piss off

Sorry but I was not aware of the win/loss trophy. However I am aware of what teams are mostly judged on and that is premierships.

Therefore:

Parramatta Eels 4

Wests Tigers 1

Can you argue with that dipsh*t ?

We should easily get past the Roosters and Sharks, I would suspect. May hiccup against the Chooks, but we should still just get over the line if we play badly.

We can possibly beat the Eels, if they lose a game from here till then, their season will be over and they'll be out of form. Also, if Hayne suffers and injury they're gone. If one of the 2 happens, I think we can beat them.

We'll be on 28 pts with a F/A of around +60 or so. Then we can beat the Titans, albeit with their great home record, however I don't expect them to be in form when we meet.

Then we'll set up a great final round match vs the Doggies in a game where I'm slightly optimistic we'll win.

5 from 5 isn't impossible, but I wouldn't bank on it. However if we do, we'll end up on 32 pts, same as 05 and finish anywhere between 4th and 6th.

Shame we lost all those close games early.

I'm with King Tim and Mr Farah on this one. One game at a time. We beat the filthy silvertails, so we're still in the hunt... We could lose every game from here and I wouldn't be surprised after last night's effort. We got lucky, then we got lucky again. How any Tigers fan can comfortably sit back and say we are a genuine chance is well and truly beyond me.

Parramatta 4 premierships in 63 years
Wests Tigers 1 premiership in 10 years

by that ratio we are still ahead of Parramatta.

Parramatta averages one premiership every 15.75 seasons
Wests Tigers averages one premiership every 10 seasons.

Over to you, dipsh*t

While we're at it Parramatta 12 sponns

Wests Tigers 0 spoons.

I do averages on that, but I can't until The Tigers have a figure greater than 0.

But it does show that Parra collect 3 spoons to every 1 premiership. LOL

Well yeah, easy argument.

Wests Tigers 2000 - 2008, 1 premiership. 1 in 10 seasons.
Parramatta Eels 1947 - 2008, 4 premierships. 4 in 63 seasons.

Maths not your strong point?

Let me take you up on your generous offer, sir.

Say we pro-rata those premierships according to the number of years in the competition? What do those stats look like?

Eels - 4/62 (=1/15.5)
Tigers - 1/10 (=1/10)

Looks like our strike rate is a touch better.

Next?

Triple hit.

This guy is sh*t, why is he even here FFS, is the Parra forum boring or something?

Might have to get Ron to rape some sense into him.

Wests Tigers:

No pedigree. You are like a Labradoodle. Anyway I'm out of here, tough guys. Beware of Parra in a couple of weeks.

Dude got wasted. Nice exit, really packed a punch...

Can't say I'm looking forward to the Tigers v Eels game but there are a few games in the meantime to worry about and anything can happen. Neither team is in a position to crow about "records". That said, I anticipate the match will be do or die for both teams. It will be heartbreaking for some.
