Referees are supposed to be impartial and its pretty insulting to them to suggest they wont be purely based on their nationality. Sure it might be better to have "neutral" refs, but in the end its pretty minor imo

It's not minor when a week later we're still debating it (every.single.year) and the media on the other side of the world is blowing up because surprise surprise, the 50/50 calls almost always fall in the Roos favour. Simple way to avoid the issue - have neutral f**king refs.

"Best refs" is nonsense anyway, all refs are shithouse.
