Only because they like to stick with the umpire. Had the soft signal been not out Broad is facing up right now.

I thought there was enough to give it not out tbh
He caught it, he fumbled, he regathered with his hand under the ball. Out.

I told you so......

Why the f**k did the umpire say he knew..... he had no clue...... he was 55 metres away....

I have bad eyes and it was very clear to me that bill hit the ground.....

Bad sportsmanship from Khawaja there.........

Lol that's the one thing it isn't. Khawaja feels it bobble, but 100% gets a hand under it. Only question is if it touches the ground whilst in his hand and before he has control on the second effort

Can you read? I said it was a dodgy call and there was enough to give it not out.

But there's no way Khawaja knew 100%either way, as you have insinuated

You'd know if your hand came off the ball which it clearly did.......

You'd also know that you got your hand under it, which he clearly did.

Only question is whether, as he rolled over, it touched the ground in his hand before he regained control. I think it probably did. But Khawaja wouldn't know.

Why is it we don't expect batsmen to walk if he;s not sure whether he's hit it, we say "well the umpire is there to make a decision".... but a fielder can't say "hey I think I've caught that" without people calling them a cheat if they haven't? There are plenty of times where you can't tell 100%
