Suns out, boundaries being creamed.

Yep, stupid f**kers hanging on too long should've just walked off when the clouds were still around.

Leaving isn't positive cricket. Plus, who can be f**ked leaving the ball in the nets where it really counts.

Lunch day 1

Australia 60
England 0/13

Still 66 more overs in the days play.

Either one of two things will happen

1) England will be all out (albeit will still have a 1st innings lead) and Australia will be batting again before stumps

2) England will be no more than 3 or 4 down with at least a 150 run lead at stumps, in which case we will need to bat at least 150 overs in the 2nd innings for any chance of a draw at the minimum.

Very suitable song choice for the Australian innings wicket montage. Falling to pieces, indeed

Can you imagine how many edges there are in the nets?

I bet they just think it wont happen out in the middle.

Rogers is retiring after this series and Clarke and Voges need to go.

Coupled with the fact that still not sold on the Marsh brothers as top six options and Smith is starting to look alarmingly like a flat track bully...

Worrying times indeed.

Maybe a more horses for courses selection for test cricket. There are bowlers that would look out of place charging in on day 1 of the gabba but would do a good job at trent bridge. a trent copeland like bowler.

Imagine these guys against Marshall, Garner or Ambrose??

They would be lucky to get to 5

I commented the same thing today at work,England were a disgrace out here last tour why Australia are an embarrassment and no better this tour, both teams are ordinary and only ever seem to succeed with a home ground advantage. The great WI team of the 80's would of trounced both these teams.
