Australia has crawled out of a hole like this before :sarcasm::

1882 vs England - 63 in first innings, won the match
1888 vs England - 60 in second innings, won the match
1902 vs England - 36 in first innings, match drawn
1902 vs England - 86 in second innings, won the match
1950 vs South Africa - 75 in first innings, won the match
1968 vs Englans - 78 in first innings, match drawn

Utterly humiliating.

Clean out after this series. Time to go Clarke and Voges. Burns needs to come in, and maybe have another go with Khawaja or someone like Carters.

Just very poor cricket.

England will rue that last 10 runs.

I reckon change it up open with Lyon, and then bring on Smith from the other end.

Then follow that up with Voges

Well it's up to our bowlers to show they are up to it. If they can do that there is no reason why we shouldn't be batting again come the middle session.

9:45 and its the change of innings. That smug nuffy Vaughan's barely-contained glee is already old.

Why is Lyth leaving those balls wide of off-stump?! What a ridiculous thing to do in test cricket
