Marsh showed more with bat and ball than Green has so far so should probably stay - as you say Warner is likely to remain.
I wonder if there is a future where Green opens the batting

England should ditch Robinson and Bairstow

Hazlewood in for Boland is a no-brainer.

I think we need to drop Warner. Bring in Renshaw or Harris and hope for the best.

I like Murphy, and think he should play, but if we are going to treat him like we did at Headingley we may as well just play Green or Neser.

I just put $20 on England 3-2

We’re cooked.

Warner should’ve been f**ked off for this tour.
The bowling tactic of short shite is abysmal.

My 4th XI

Khawaja
Renshaw
Lauba
Smith
Head
Marsh / Green
Carey
Neser
Starc
Cummins
Murphy

I’d even SOS Wade. Get down and dirty.

Much bigger break this time around, the test won't start until July 19th. Shouldn't be any concerns over workload so this test should feature our best 11 possible excluding Lyon who is injured.

England playing such up tempo cricket with the bat makes a draw less likely. However it needs to be in the back of our minds. We win the Ashes with a draw and the goal should be to bat England out of the game. Its fine to bat positively and look to score however Labs dismissal was a real shocker. We need to be a lot more ruthless.

Davey will get another shot I think. Green to be left out, Marsh just put in the best individual performance of any player in this series so far.

Head and Green aren't openers and shouldn't be considered to move.

So its Harris and Renshaw if they decide to move Warner on (which I doubt). I'd go Renshaw because Harris is an absolute spud.

Got to play Murphy. Especially as old trafford tradionally takes turn although if its a bazball pitch it will be a road anyway.

Boland out Hazelwood in.

Warner should be axed - maybe a practise match between Harris & Renshaw, best performer wins the spot?

Marsh has to play the 4th test - fantastix first innings with the bat and wickets in both innings with the ball - has outplayed green in one game - silly to drop him.

Green isn’t doing enough to warrant selection back in - some awesome catches but that’s about it

Hasn't Renshaw left the squad with Harris the only other batter left?

Spare batter Matt Renshaw, who fielded for Lyon on the final day of the Lord's Test, has been released from the squad but will remain in the UK on standby, meaning Australia's squad has been reduced to 16 with seam bowler Michael Neser remaining with the group having been a late addition for the World Test Championship final and the first two Ashes Tests.
