NZ gornski here 154/6 Johnson killing it again. Best he has bowled all summer, hope he keeps it going for a few more weeks. No surprise either, he seems to need a few games before he reaches his peak again.

How hard is it to bat 50 overs for the kiwis?

Great move by Ponting to start sending them in to see what they are made of.

Next game we just have to make one change, McKay in for Bollinger, he has been found out by the kiwis.

I would say he has been found out, he's just lost his mojo for now

he was by far our best bowler this summer

Hes bowled crap nothing to do with the Kiwis exposing him. If he bowled like this over the summer WI and Pakistan would have taken to him too.

Australia will win this by 9 wickets. Century for Watson, 80 for Ponting unbeaten.

this will no doubt be a D/L result

we may only need 200 or so

kiwis need Bond to strike early as wickets make a huge difference to the D/L system

Dont think Duckworth Lewis has helped us too much here (which is probably fair cause it didnt help NZ the other day).

We lost 16 overs, but got about 36 runs.

Think we need 202 off 34 overs.

1/1 in the first.

Bond will be a tricky customer in these conditions. Swing is now back which we didn't have.

i'll never uderstand D/L

It's simple. They multiply the number of balls bowled by the number of balls faced then divide that figure by the average age of the batting side minus the number of spanners in a Sytcrome tool kit.
