Did you just suggest that KP takes over as captain after lunch?
He's probably the worst candidate, they're better off without him completely.

just when i thought you couldn't post anything more stupider
You think bowling Root twice, using their best bowler so sparingly and setting such weak fields isn't enough to take the gig off him?

The bottom line is as an Australian fan for this next session I fear a team captained by KP a lot more than a team captained by Cook.
Why would bunniesman give the captaincy to a man 2 days ago he said had no fight in him as a test match batsman? :?

My problem was with KP's batting. I think he'd be a better captain in terms of setting fields and picking bowlers.

You fear a team that is carrying a captain who you don't rate as a batsman?

I'd hate to waste a spot in the XI with a specialised field setter.

You said he has no fight in him but you'll give him the captaincy

You're a genius and when you're not desperately trying to troll and giving your honest opinion it's still the dumbest thing that's being said.

I don't think he's the long term answer but for this session and the 5th test I'd give it to him. Cook has been so awful as captain. But they are still a very outside shot of winning this. KP setting the fields and picking the bowlers would give them a small chance. Another session of Cook calling the shots achieves nothing.

I've been keeping an eye on KP in the field, he's been running hard and diving desperately to save every last run. He cares. I've had problems with his batting but for the short term he'd be a better option as captain. Literally anybody would be a step up from their current situation.

You understand that the captaincy is a big deal right. Cook probably has quite close friends in the English side. It isn't changing the batting order it is making a f**king huge decision.

It would have significant morale complications through the entire English side. It would make them look like a rabble and would upset any allies Cook has (especially over KP). Please stop talking shit mate.

I don't think I've ever heard anything more stupid in regards to any subject ever. Congratulations BM, you've peaked.

To be fair, the way they are playing the morale is already at 0.
I don't think changing the captaincy now is the right thing to do, but they need to have a serious look at it after the series. Field placings and tactics have been plain embarrassing from Cook.

Certainly after the series for sure.

I know BM is about 12 years old but anyone who can remember England of the 90s can remember the shimozzle that was the English captaincy. While Cook is bad just sacking and replacing captains left right and centre makes a side look shot and desperate.

So morale is going good right now is it? They're not looking like a rablle are they? English players are not upset as it is?

BTW Piers Morgan agrees with me. He is also saying to take the captaincy from Cook and give it to KP. Plenty of people think it is a good idea.

Cook is struggling but he's captained his country to a lot of great series wins.

His days are numbered as captain, but he shouldn't be replaced until somebody else puts their hand up to lead.

'Piers Morgan agrees with me'

Agree, and KP isn't the right man to lead them out of this mess either.
