Rogers averaging over 41 since returning to the side. That'll do considering the rubbish we've had opening for us.

Cook inherited what was probably the best test side in the world from Strauss, this is the first piece of adversity he's had and he's responding horribly.

Were you watching? Your argument is fair enough for Rogers but the game was all but over and the poms looked broken and defeated by the time Watson came out to bat.

I would have given it to Rogers or Lyon. But Johnson bowled beautifuly well.

Johnson deserved it but the fact that you can name three players shows that this has been a series well contributed by almost everyone at various stages instead of relying on Clarke to save us time and time again.

The fact that this whole series hasn't been a Clarke-a-thon is the most pleasing thing from Australia's perspective. He's averaged just under 50, but there's been plenty of support from others. Every single person has played average or above average apart from Bailey.
