What have India done to Kohli? I have not seen a player come unstuck so spectaculy since Phil Hughes.

India skittled for 152.

Gotta say its about time Broad fired up again, he's been very hot and cold.

Also looking at the Indian wickets, its clear that they are playing far too much ODI cricket as they never had a clue about how to play on a green top like this. They seemed more concerned with runs than survival.

Poms 3/113 overnight

I tell you what, a couple of early wickets and India could reduce poms to a lead of under 100 and would be semi back in the game, at this stage poms in cruise control Bell 45* nightwatchman Jordon 0*

I'd like to see England win this series. Firstly because I'd like to see Team India get the beating the smug bastards deserve. Secondly, it will get England into thinking that they're back on track when they're not.

India looked completely out of the depth against genuine swing on a green deck. They are just a bunch of flat track bullies and I hope they get green decks here in Australia.

Just saw the following stat

I will say this: Joe Root can bat and if given the right advice and left at 5 for a year or two to establish himself will be among the best batsmen going around. Saying that there is a big IF about him.

And that's his ability to play overseas. England need to be patient with this guy because he has a future, no doubt they will f**k him over by making him captain or batting him up the order like they did in the ashes to protect Bell and KP.

In England 13 tests average 59.05 4 centuries

In Australia 4 tests 33,18 no tons
In India 1 test 93 runs in two innings (debut test) no tons
In NZ 3 tests 17.60 average no tons

Turns 24 in December so has time to improve his overseas average, of course time to lower his home average as well
