We'll the three newbies fail, Usman slightly better than his average, Marshes failed again.

They will probably will get another chance today or early tomorrow.

Can any of the top six stand up?

Tough for Renshaw and Burns to fly in straight after playing a game, field for 2 days and then open.
Khawaja stood up for a while but put in a 'joe root' performance when we needed more.
Hanscombe's weaknesses have been exposed and this should be his last test.
The Marsh bros will be living off their Perth partnership for the next 10 years but are still plodders.

Paine and Cummins will tough it out for a short while but then we'll either be forced to bat again or they'll pile on the runs for a while.

Either way we're going to be spanked before the tour from hell ends.

Hmmm waking up to check the score and I find we are same old Aussies with the 3 players missing, maybe it isn’t all doom and gloom without them

Not sure what people expect, our batting has been poor for a while with Smith's unbelievable form papering over the cracks.

If the ICC had held its nerve and upheld the Rabada suspension, none of this would have happened IMHO.

Match over tonight. What is left of the Australian team will be wanting to get out of Dodge asap.
