Remember, this is the same ground where that famous 400+ run chase occurred in 2006, and yet many cricket personalities in the media have the audacity to say that was one of the greatest ODIs of all time! Give me a break... The '99 World Cup semi-final at Edgbaston craps all over that match from a great height.

Yesterday's ODI was a far cry from back in the day when Australia first played there post-Apartheid in 1994. Have a look at the scorecard at 0:54. Opening batsmen Peter Kirsten, 47 off 114 balls (strike rate of 41)!

A lazy arrogant disinterested rabble is the best way to describe them, they are cocky with the swagger of those champion teams of yesteryear for absolutely no reason whatsoever. They are a disgrace to those champion players who remained unbeaten in test cricket for 15 years.

Though a 2nd rate SA bowling attack (no steyn, morkel, philander and also no Amla)

WI were 8/218 after 43 overs
finished with 9/266 with 9 balls to spare

Russell got them home 64* from 40 balls

I would really only describe Gayle as arrogant and disinterested tbh. I suppose being paid would also help.
