No one is suggesting we would have won Goangod merely that Shane Hayne is thw worst ref in the game. Personally I always thought this was undisputed

Yes I agree he is the worst ref in the game - by a country mile.

We are also, on current form, the worst team in the game - by a country mile.

Yes I'm a f**ing tool.

I was blind. It's all Hayne's fault.

It must be Hayne's fault that we had 106-0 scored against us in the last two weeks.

I suppose if the refs had been better in the last two games we would have won those as well.

Always looking to blame someone else - never taking responsibility for themselves - perhaps you should run for the WT board - pathetic.

You idiot

Did anybody say anything about the last two weeks?? At least I walked away from those games knowing we had been beaten (very well) by better teams. After watching that debacle I am just plain angry. He did not give us a go. Sheens should blow 10 grand. What would Ricky Stuart do? He would go absloulety balistic in the press conderence and for the next 3 weeks the refs would be too scared to penalise the Roosters. Its about time this club grew some balls and stood up for itself!

The only thing you said that made sense was your opening sentance.

Alot of the reason our attack was so poor at stages is cause we were so f*cking tired from making that many more tackles, that the energy and creativity wasnt there

There are two issues with the tackle count.

1) Did we deserve to be penalised this much?

Yes we did. If the penalties were unjustified then I would be as annoyed as the next person. But they werent. No one disputes this.

2) Why wasn't Canberra penalised to the same extent?

Quite simply, they didnt infringe to the same extent we did. Not saying they were perfect because there was 1 or 2 occasions were they couldve been penalised. But nothing blatantly stupid like we did.

Of course, a team cant win if they are on the wrong side of a 12-2 penalty count. Conversely, a team cant win if they concede 12 penalties. And I dont hear anyone complaining that Hayne just made the penalties up.

Obviously the penalty count made a huge impact in the game - but is it Haynes fault we could get a kick off on the fifth for the majority of the game? Was it? How much, in field position, points and metres did that cost us?

A lot of the time Darren and co weren't giving the best passes from Dummy Half ending up with pressure being put on Kerr.

Maybe, but when we did have it we passed it to Canberra, dropped it, kicked it to them on the full, had no 5th tackle options and generally no organisation whatsoever.

That's pretty bad in my books.

If you were to label gays, women or black people this way, you would be called a bigot.

There is a very fine line between having a discussion and religious bigotry.

Do try and keep your Christophobia out of this.

BS.

We were NEVER in a position to have any attack in the Raiders half.

We were constantly working the ball out of our own half.

This is what happens when your freakin halfback cant kick more than 10 metres - the raiders got the ball back in good field position every single time.

Keirans long kicking wasnt that bad when he chose to use. He had a poor game but it was mainly through options more than anything. I will admit he is one of the worst penalty kickers of all time. His general field kicking was poor tonight but not as bad as you make out

Did you ever think we were camped in our territory because our forwards couldnt make more than 30 metres a sit you dumbass?

And our halfback did ever even kick it?

Keep blaming the ref.

People here have been blaming the ref for years.

It's what ensures this team languishes in mediocrity.

I didnt even notice Gibb's high shot so I cant comment on it.

I'm going on about 106-0 because you have to look at the larger context.

We have had the pants flogged off us in the past two weeks yet we still play the same deadbeats in the same positions.

Our forwards and halves need to be replaced.

People here want to SOLELY blame the ref tonight. I disagree.

Blame the forwards, blame the halves.

I will agree with that second poast Goangod but I really think we are arguing over very little here. Most of us agree that we wouldnt have won the game however it is churlish to suggest Hayne had a good game. We were sh!thouse doesnt mean the refs perfomance should be free of blame

cheers
