Nick and goangod, please, this is a RUGBY LEAGUE forum, not a church off. So if it doesn't involve the tiges, than please either p.m or take it elsewhere.

mate i undertsand that. Lets just put it down to a misunderstanding. Dont get me wrong I dont support the Islam. I think all religions are equally cuplable. I have done a little bit on middle east politics. I hold the view that it has little to do with religion and more to do with other factors but that is for another time.
I declare a truce :)

I was going to comment on the slow service from dummy half.

Will the ever learn to pass off the ground?

Back to the footy - and stop blaming ST...

Where is Robbie Farah?

Why isnt he in first grade?

Why are we playing two ageing ordinary players rather than a talented young hooker?

I think the fact that Sheens has refused to front a MANDATORY press conference because he was so pissed off at Hayne suggest we got the wrong end of the stick. Sheens is definately not one to make excuses.

goangod you make a lot a sense but I can understand the frustration of Wests Tigers supporters in general.

Just in case you do not know I am a Raiders supporter and was at the game last night. When I realised that Shame was the ref I turned to my mates and said "ohh sh!t" ... he has belted us before at crucial stages in the game. I can remember one game at Bruce against the Broncs when we were leading by 2 with five to go and Shame pulls one out of the air and awards the broncs a penalty straight in front. Now its a draw and with the Broncs attacking with 2 to go he gives another penalty when Croker was making every atempt to get of a player who drove hmself between Crokers legs as he was getting up. The Broncs won.

The problem with shame is that he seems to have a game plan before he gets to the ground and does not deviate from that come what may.

Mind you I think most of the penalties against you guys were warranted but during the game there were a number of times when I thought shame is about to turn the count around, "c'mon Raiders get off" (the tackled the player) I said ... fortunately for us he did not pull us up.

Taking all that into account did you guys think that Ricahrds scored that try in the corner ... last week aginst the broncs it was a case of benefit of the doubt in favour of the broncs (defence) this week we went back to what it should be .. to the attacking team. And how about McLinden being called back for what seemed to be an incomplete tackle ... we would have scored on that occassion.

Best of luck next week.

How about the pass by Mogg for the first try...at least three metres forward.....everyone saw it except for Hayne and his touchie who was sweating on it....

Hayne refereed one side last night, most of the penalties were very soft IMHO and should not have been given, and there were plenty missed on the Canberra side of things. We just couldnt take a trick last night.

Its all well and good to say the best team won last night, but I dont think we were given a chance to win that game.......a joke.

It really is a crying shame that we have such a brilliant game and a brilliant competition, but the adjudicators are third rate.

EVERY single weekend when i see certain refs at certain games, i ask myself "I wonder which team will be leant toewards tonite. Not just wests Tigers games...but almost every games these certain refs are 'in charge' of. I know im not alone in my thinking as well.....and weekend after weekend these refs come up with performances that back up our fears.

Thats a sad indictment on our game....

innsaneink i agree with you even Bill Harrigan said on the footy show today, that it depends on the ref, when they were selecting who will win the state of origin. And I hope Shane Hayne is relegated to jersey flegg or U/14.

There were aspects of our game that were very dissapointing. forwards getting way to involved in backline play, last tackle options ( or maybe even kicking on the 2nd tackle )

However a team cannot consistently have to make 12 and 18 tackles in a row and be expected to hold out, or have the nessesary energy to attack.

it was a fairly farcical game and one that both teams cannot take to much from really.
