You should be in marketing for the NRL. Why would anyone possibly buy a GF ticket when they go on sale. Don't you know you should wait until the week before when you know what teams are going to be in it!

As a sharks fan, you'll never have to worry about appearing in one anyway, so you can spend that money buying archival footage of the 1979 Amco Cup Final.

Now lets check the stats. The last time you guys made a grand final was 97. Hardly an achievement considering it was the Super League and there were only ten teams in the competition. Now 99 preliminary... choke, 08 preliminary... well that wasn't even a choke that was just a massive FAIL. Your two other grand finals were back in the 70s and surprise surprise you guys lost them too plus another minor premiership in 1988.

If fans want to label us chokers than I cn handle the criticism as long as they have some silverwhere in the trophy cabinet to back them up. So Canterbury, Melbourne, Penrith, Manly, Newcastle, Tigers, Brisbane, Souths, Parramatta, Canberra and Roosters fgive us sh*t if you want cos I have the balls to take it. But Cronulla fans, well what better than to say 43 years and won f**k ALL... and never will! CRONULLA = EPIC FAIL and CHOKERS since 1967.

However that is some serious baggage to carry.

The fans hopes, expectations and pressure could really way the team down.

The way the dragons are going, its fair to say the fans will be expecting a premiership this year.

What a weight to carry the pressure going into each semi will be immense.

The original post was supposed to be a geniune thought provoking point about the past successes/failures that the Dragons have had throughout the years.

I still believe that it could be an issue come semi time but that does not mean they can't win the comp.
