It's Ireland's game to lose. This is great for the tournament (and to a lesser extent Zimbabwe's performance)

Looking at the fixtures coming in it did look like it was pretty obvious who "should" go through to the quarters from each group. Things have gotten interesting now.

WI were always a chance of missing the QTRs the squad they selected is average (Pollard and Bravo should be there). Surely this will get Ireland test status?

I doubt it sadly. There's no benefit to India, and I can't see England being too keen on reducing their player pool either.

The grandstand stream today was great. No idea who the commentators were (the Irish dude was great) but they did a much better job than Maxwell, Boycott etc did over the weekend.

If you had a dog and it was as miserable as Boycott you would put it down, and it'd be the right thing to do!

I am getting annoyed with every media outlet referring to by this as a 'huge upset'.

The West Indies have been on a steady slide for years and Ireland have been going from strength to strength for years.
