Batsmen let us down in the end and it's a shame because we looked very solid early before Watson gave his wicket away. It seemed to lead to a chain reaction and it would have taken a miracle to restict to Lankans.

Got off to a decent start, especially when Sanga gave his wicket away but they consolidated and we just didn't have the strike to make the break through. No matter, it was good to see Pattinson get some experience. Still very green, but I see potential in him.

Also good work by Malinga to get the hat-trick. He definitely is one of the more exciting characters in world cricket.
