Watson, Hughes, Hussey, and Khawaja all got starts, but didnt crack the fifty.
I dont think I can recall a time were we have struggled to get at least one batsman regularly through to the 50's or 100 milestones.
Scroing at a very slow rate... Almost 100 over down and 240 on the board...
Johnson and Hilfenhaus are putting together the best partnership of the Aussie innings. It shouldn't be left to numbers 8 & 10 to do that

another 15 runs and this partnership will equal the best one for this test so far.

Smith needs to get the arse. He's gradually getting worse at this level, he needs much more time at state level first. His batting technique is just atrociously ugly at times.

watch the sun come out when the poms bat

the pitch will dry out and flatten out
you can't flatten a SCG pitch.

It's like asking Souths fans to play down their premiership aspirations every off season. You just know it won't happen.

The SCG has always turned out these bumpy pitches. Sun or not, this pitch looks set to turn into a minefield on day 4, if the bowlers can remember how to ball sensibly, intelligently and....I'll have to stop there, that's just being silly.

We'll come out, bowl short snot and get sh*tcarted and lose by an innings and 400 runs with a day to spare lol

he's pretty much done it all at state level, even with that technique

he needs a bit of work but he has some raw talent, he'll get better

he's more of a limited overs batsman and we'll see plenty of him over the next few months

He just does not look comfortable in the test side. If you're not comfortable you won't play well.

Keep him in the ODI and Twenty20's, because lets face it, thats what he is suited to.

He isn't a test player right now and isn't about to become one over the next 1-2 seasons either.

He's currently taking up SOK's spot.

Beer shouldn't be anywhere near this team, his selection is a f**king joke.

I could not believe the selection of Beer when they first brought him in
not only did he only start playing first class cricket this season, he only started playing first grade this season and he's 26
