Easiest selection call of the Summer. Glad they didn't f**k it up.

Only other issue is Starc and the workload on the bowlers. Fingers crossed we bat first and go deep into day 2.

I live in Sydney. I know Sydney. The weather will be fine. Hardly a drop of rain over the next 5 days so there will be plenty of time for a result.

I notice Cummins said we haven't seen the last of Marsh in the baggy green. Well Steve Waugh said that when Slater was dropped in 2001 and he was wrong. So for this comparison to work we just need Webster to blossom into the equal of the Hayden-Langer opening partnership. Easy.

Sometimes i wonder if that Hayden-Langer was really worth it now having to put up with the dynamic duo dribble in the commentary box

Its not like Justin Langer was the difference to that champion team.

He was a gap filler when you had blokes like Ponting, Gilchrist, S Waugh, Warne, McGrath a bloke like Langer got carried in reality.

How many games was he the point of difference in that era.

He never played in any of those champion ODI sides that won world cups.

We could have had Mike Hussey open the batting for 3-4 years before he got picked and Brad Hodge in the middle order and the team results would have stayed the same.
