Gambhir's presser wasn't exactly from the PR school of pressers and you could see he had issues accusing the media of not being truthful, although there were some truths (his words) in what had been reported.

Your team captains don't get "rested". Obviously he was dropped.

Then there is Ronald McDonald saying we wanted to move in a new direction when referring to MMarsh's omission. For some reason, they can't say a player was dropped when it's very obvious to the cricketing public that a player was dropped, especially when the public had been calling for his head for some time.

Funny that Rohit is saying the youngsters have a bit to learn about test cricket, without them and Bumrah India would have literally nothing…

Guess a concern for Aust that at least India has a bunch on youngsters getting test experience, while you rotate one player under 30

I mean, India have gone with a strange cover but is it really that surprising that coaches aren't fronting the press going "yeah nah the Bison's just f**ken shit house it turns out so we've fired him into the sun, the dumb prick"?

That could be a little awkward when he inevitably gets a recall to Sri Lanka, after bullying some fluffers in the Big Beat Off.

what's more surprising is after 10 plus years, a test batting average under 30 and a bowling average over 40, and literally an abysmal record against everyone except England from memory, your selectors still think he's a viable test #6...

He’s only been there because Green died and CA hasn’t given a f**k about Shield since 2004

Stats are only a small factor. Have you seen the blokes levers?

How insecure are these Melbourne/AFL f**kwits about the Sydney weather.

You couldn't pay me to live down there yet they want to shitbag our city every chance they get.

Sure, but regardless given he’s hardly bowled selecting him hoping that the planets align and he has another decent innings is pretty geniused

Not ideal to bat second however India will have to set the pace. Day 5 rain will have them panicking over time available to force a result.

We can't shit our pants too quickly if they try to start fast. Just keep the wickets coming.
