I’m 99.9% sure Australia will win here, but how good is it to see a competitive (ish) Ashes test?

Carey is good there, that's some shot

I don't reckon he's been as bad as what he's copped for a debut series. He's not the long term keeper, he's done ok

Is there a long term keeper on the horizon? Openers? Pucowski ever going to recover?

Enough keeping options, at least on potential. Josh Inglis probably the pick but I can't think of a poor keeper for any state except Wade, and there's a few around who could do the job although some are older obviously and not in the frame.

Openers less so. I'm not picking Pucovski until he has a full summer without a head hit, he's f**ked against short stuff. Wood would've killed him today

Deserved a 50* out there but wide and full like that also deserved a bat thrown at it. Good knock, has put us in a great spot for mine

Billings has been a breath of fresh air imo. Bit of spark, seems capable of catching a cricket ball

Geez that's an ugly hack from the skipper.

We've got enough though I reckon. Probably more than we need
