Having astewed while away for the weekend, and walking away from the tv with 20 mins left. I am at home and watched the game again

The above numbers state the obvious. They are our issues at the moment

6. Morts is unwell and give him the benefit of the doubt

7. Robson is a complete waste of space,look at what T Smith did and it wasn't tackle it was organise and play half back. Seriously, I spoke to someone at the club, who said last year he didnt think he would hold the 7 position for the season at Wenty, but got a break and here we are. On TV there are 2 Parra 7s, Hodkinson and Maloney, and we have Robbo , good bloke and all but not an NRL standard player.
Those who support him, come on and tell me another half back he would oust in the NRL, friggin embarrassing (but he tackles).

9. As slow at times as the 7, needs to re energise and maybe go back to Wenty

I tipped Sharks , I didn't think we would win as soon as they got a 7, unforrunately I think DA is the sort of hard nut who will tough it out and that may cost us.

KK was ordinary, but I don't see him anywhere but at 6 or 7

Praise goes to Horo and Oake for their attitude and never say die, Hayne, Fui, Inu and Guru for at least having a dig last night. The rest and the coach , find a mirror and have a good hard look

Robbo is not a 1st grade halfback. People don't understand that if we had someone decent ag halfback in the GF we could have pulled off a win.

With KK I said it before you either start him or wenty. He's not a hooker/ supersub bench player. He's halfback and 5/8:

Cayless is the same as KK, he's old and slow but you either sack him to wenty or start him. He's no benchy.

For next mondays game,I would have a pretty similar team to last night. It's all about attitude amd desire of the team. The talents there.

My slight changes would be:

7. KK
14. A Mitchell

Players on notice: everyone other than Inu, B Smith and Horo.

Someone favours Robbo and I do not know who. I think if DA really really wanted him, he would've signed him much earlier last year. To me, it seemed as Robbo chased for the contract instead of Parra chasing Robbo.

So he is there on someone's wish.

However, KK isn't settitng the world on fire and so DA has no choice.

1. You seem to have a very unrealistic amount of faith in Daniel Mortimer.
2. You never cite anything that Robson does well - rather you revert to character assassination.
3. Kris Keating`s (and Daniel Mortimer`s) form this year has been way below that of Jeff Robson.
These three points tend to lower your credibility as an astute judge of the game. I am well aware of Jeff Robson`s limitations, and what impact they may or may not be having on the team as a whole - but be fair at least. Be impartial, and thereby regain your credibility.

When Mortimer was out, Keating played 5/8 didn`t he? Or was that my imagination? And he played the house down too. Gave us that much-needed spark. I don`t know why Anderson didn`t keep him there this week. Do you?

Lingard, you may be correct, but I have been around the game for a long time, and I don't want to see my team continue on this slippery dip because some people think there is an agenda.

I don't believe Robson is a first grade 7, I watch a lot of lower grade games and have seen KK come though since he was 14 and he can play. Robson is a journeyman who I wish well , but cannot lead a team around the park.

KK played against Pearce at the beginning of last year and played all over him, was doing well then got injured twice, he has been asked to fill in at hooker and that is not his position.

I am still involved in junior leage, and speak to coaches more than once or twice a week. nearly all agree that Robson is on sufferance, I want the club to do well, been following them for a very long time, and I rate Robson alongside Martin Seal and others, only he has a better team aorund him .

This is not a character assassination, it is a football opinion pure and simple.

let's agree to disagree, and if you don't think Tim Smith pointed you and me in the direction of how a 7 should play, then so be it.
