Complete madness if we let Austin go. He is unique in his ability to play so many positions and play them well. If he desires a permanent spot them make him a centre. If or should I say when our 6-7 and 1 are injured he is the perfect easy replacement to cover them. If after a season and his contract expires and he still wishes to move on so be it , but for now he is far to important to lose.

Sounds like it's time to dust off the resume MU and apply for the GM job

Any deal we have in place for the release of Austen will probably have a clause that a few contracts go with him, similar to the Gibbs Fifita deal we did with the Sharks.

If we could get Moltzen,Lawrence and Galloway off our books for just the loss of Austen, it would be a good deal, but just to clear some basic contract plodders for arguable our best player is madness
