England won the toss and will bat first.

f**k its boiling here. Interesting to in the lead up they put music videos on the screen. Goes to show how long its been since I last came down for a match. Should try and make it an annual thing again.

Good toss to win not a ground where the team batting 2nd wins much.

Good toss to lose with a World Cup coming up. It will be a really good test for them with the heat, the difficulties of batting second and a few young guys in the team.

I really didn't think Smith would be able to get a wicket against these two but he gets the captain!

Well Sydney has spoken, ODIs are dying.

Sydney had a full house in the other game here. It's about 35 degrees on a weekday when the little brats and their parents are back at school/work and with the series already won not too many people are interested I know I wish it was a best of 7 so that when a team goes 4-1 up that's the series done.

Why would you go to the cricket these day's when you can sit at home in the air con and watch it on TV.

15 - 20 years ago unless the game was a sell out only the first 2 hours of an ODI would be shown on the TV which meant people had to get up off their backsides and actually go.

TV has ruined cricket crowds not the game it self.
