Big footy weekend coming up, and this ODI series concludes on Sunday

Its a day game so starts 7.15pm AEST

The ICC Champions trophy starts later in the week, Not sure we have had the best preparation for that torunament by smacking the poms. Though we should smack the 2nd string WI side on the 26th first up

I wonder if we play our top XI in this game as a final hitout before the ICC tournament :-k

Cheers

As we should, get them ironing out the bumps in the team the match before, I think on confidence and the form of some of our players in England we can go a long way in this tournament.

Wonder what odds we would have been for a cleansweep before the series???? You'd have at least thought the Poms could have stolen one game.

James Anderson is delusional saying the 6-0 scoreline flatters Australia.

England have been nothing short of pathetic with the bat.

“The vast majority of us in the dressing room still believe we can beat Australia and think that 6-0 flatters them a bit.”

Not only is Anderson delusional the 'vast majority' of the rest of them are too ... this has been as comprehensive a 6-0 drubbing as I can remember. England haven't looked like winning a game.

If anything England could argue they screwed up good chances of winning in the first 2 games but even then it has been very comprehensive with one of the worst middle/lower orders ever seen in ODIs.

Not looking spectacular early on, but now Ponting and Clarke are going to make 100 each. Bank on it.

Clarke has been painful to watch in ODI's of late. What happened to him he used to be a real flashy type. Hussey still has had no rest. are the Aussie selectors kidding themself.

lol at the Clarke bashing. In ODIs:

Clarke Ave 42.94, SR 78.03.
Ponting Ave 42.90 SR 80.67

Scores a whopping two and a half runs less per hundred balls than arguably Australia's best ever ODI batsman.
