Absolutely I resent the fact the Storm ruined 2 recent seasons and potentially could have ruined 3 more due to their actions. They then expect everyone to forgive, forget and praise them for the "culture" they have. They have a culture born out of cheating, something noone should be proud of.

I understood the sarcasm, but I still feel it was the most sensible thing you've posted (regardless of intent).

Good on them. Australian teams usually struggle given the vastly different conditions in the UK (IIRC temperatures were hovering around 0 degrees in the days leading up to the game). That playing surface was a disgrace.

The point I'm trying to make is that superleague sides generally compete in the WCC despite vast differences in salary cap. Overpaying a team is outrageous and Storm deserve all the penalties they get. I'm just putting it out there that overpaying doesn't neccesarily mean success.
