8 Centres/Wingers Under 21 Better than Lomax

Just to kill this ridiculous argument that we continue to promote regarding the overrated potential of (S)Lomax...Seriously he is so far behind the below players in the same age bracket in development and achievement that it's not funny and I'm probably missing a few...Lomax offers very little...can blame the coach to some extent but there are some obvious physical attributes that he's missing that can't be coached................speed, strength, x factor... add to this that he's arguably the slowest centre under the age of 22 and we have a dud on our hands...

We need proven centers and if possible I would go for a Gagai, Morris combination even for a 2 year period, I would also try and rope back Nene on one wing . Re Fullback I'm pretty certain re Sailor becoming a success...

Lomax is only 19, Mitchell is 22 and shouldn’t be in your list. That leaves 7. The last 4 in your list aren’t better than him at all. That leaves 3 - Papenyhuyzen, Xerri and Cotric. Papenhuyzen is a fullback so that only leaves Cotric and Xerri. Cotric is 21 and Lomax is 19, not fair to compare them at that age, as in those two years men tend to develop a lot.

That only leaves Xerri, who has had an excellent season and looks the goods. Lomax will develop, he’ll likely grow and get stronger. He’s not slow despite what you say and may even get a little quicker. He’s played out of position, has been injury riddled and is playing in a team that is getting horribly beaten. Far, far too early to be writing him off Mickey and your comparisons are ridiculous.
