killer list there Alex.

Anyone(aside from stagger) who used to go to gigs in the late 90s at netwown rsl, when they called the room the bands played in Goldmans? Run by the Ivy League crew. Saw some top gigs there.

And Globe(?) on King St.

f**king great list Alex...

I also forgot one of the best singer song writers this country ever produced, it's almost a tragedy that he hasn't reached the dizzy heights that Johns, Fanning and Rogers but this guy wrote some killer tunes.

Peter Fenton - Crow.

Stag, the photo is me and Roz, with the chalkboard saying 'Crow Last ever show' in between us. I;d assume it was either you or Sonia that took it???

A school mate of mine's sister was in SPDFGH... ;-)

And you might remember a couple of mates were in a band that sometimes supported them Stags, called Wilson Tuckey Goes To Hobart . I still have their demo cassettes, and my girlfriend has inherited their keyboard practice amp.

Oh, there's also the fleeting genius that was the John Reed Club.....
I loved the Death Metal EP. Stamp Duty is a great great track - one of my favourites. Pissed I missed them on the list.

I went to the first Homebake in Byron in 1996 awesome lineup - Spiderbait, Tumbleweed, Silverchair, Regurgitator, The Mark of Cain, You Am I, Sidewinder, Magic Dirt, Fur, Powderfinger, Hardware, Screamfeeder, Grinspoon. F*** me it was muddy (just like any festival at Belongil really).

LMAO I'm weirded out to see Ratcat mentioned. I have them on my iphone & the amount of people who wet themselves when they here it & begin to recall times passed amazes me. They were an awesome band live before "That Aint Bad", after that the crowd changed & therefore so did the rooms they played, more than the fame they were getting.
