 I didn't say that ...Yeah....three dubious no try/try calls going against us is easily erased by a single penalty that wasn't even conclusive :lol:
lolJD
What I did say is that if you refer to the rule book, all three of these dubious calls you're on about that went against you were the correct calls.
Mannah ran around, if only just, the player, obstructing Wicks and preventing him from making the tackle. He still probably wouldn't have prevented the try itself, but he wasn't allowed the opportunity.
Kingston diving over from dummy half, he connected with the outside of the player playing the ball. Again, the try itself probably wouldn't have been prevented, but the Newcastle marker wasn't allowed the opportunity to make the tackle. If he dived away from the bloke playing the ball, it wouldn't have been a problem ...
And the Mullen try was inconclusive according to the video ref, so he sent it back down to the on-field ref, who was in the best position, thus awarding the try.
As for the penalty in front of the posts, it was pretty clearly touched by Hayne when he went up to contest the bomb, but you got away with it. Suppose you could say that went against us, but in recent weeks we've had a few 50-50 calls go our way.
Is that unbiased enough for you?
