Singing "Its Just you and your hand tonight" and then singing "Please don't leave me" is the biggest contradiction in the world. It just promotes angry angry stupid girls who think that noone is good enough for them, and the world should revolve around their whim. There is NOTHING WRONG with a guy being interested in you at a bar, and if you're not interested in him, there's no reason to make him feel like sh*t. She is not a rockstar, and singing "I wanna start a fight" just conjures up images of ugly angry butch chicks fighting on the dance floor at PJ Gallaghers, while everyone looks on in pity.. UGH!

Interesting enough, I was at a 21st the Friday night before last with my girlfriend. I girl from my uni course was also there, and whilst we get along OK and I enjoy chatting to her, we don't talk that much.

At the party, she's trying to talk to me all the time, the not-so-casual touching on the arm, the flick of the hair etc, and I presumed my girl was thinking "WTF?" .. so I had tried to avoid her all evening just so my GF wouldn't get too upset.

And then when we decided to leave about 1am, we went around saying bye to the people we knew, I got to the other chick and said bye, and then she was trying to convince me to stay longer! I was like, "Erm, we really need to go, we didn't drive here tonight and the last bus back is at 1:20 .." (a lie, the last bus was already gone, we had to take an 8 minute but $35 taxi ride :x) .. and after a bit more harassment, she was like "Aww OK, I'll see you in class next week then," plants a big kiss on my cheek and gives me a big hug.

All that in front of my girlfriend, who, upon leaving the place (Watershed @ Darling Harbour), goes, "Wow, that Linda girl is really nice, she seems like a lot of fun!"

I was like ":shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: ... Yeah, she is really sweet."

Do you go clubbing much?

I never hit the clubs/bars unless it's for a birthday party, but every time I've gone I've had at least one or two random girls show interest throughout the night. Not s**ts, because I don't like dancing. I prefer to sit in the corner chatting, but there always seem to be a couple of other girls who come to say hello and chat for a while, until they find out I'm taken! I've always thought it pretty weird, but I guess this is the modern-day feminist equality thing happening.

If you don't, you should go out to the clubs more often. It seems that it's possible to find cute girls there who don't just want to go straight back to yours for a shag! Given you're an ardent "abstinence before marriage" guy, it could work out for you?
