I'm Aussie and like playing soccer, so I'll watch them if they're doing well... so probably a bit of a bandwaggoner, but I don't start acting like a f**kwit and putting in msn names, pretending like i've been a fan of the socceroos all along :lol:

So now I'm a bandwagonner? :crazy:

Unless that wasn't directed at anyone in particular ...

Whereas you and everyone else have to.

Conversely, if you can't beat them ...

Anyway, I'm going to bed. Night merkins.

For the record:

* I'm a Parra/rugby league fan first and foremost
* I grew up in a family with a lot of South American and European ancestry and as a result grew to love soccer
* I'm a proud Aussie
* I lived in South America and Europe

So....Having said that...

I am ecstatic the Socceroos made the World Cup again, and I am ecstatic we beat Japan. It's been years since I could have a discussion with my family about Australian soccer.

Having said that I'm not one to jam it down people's throats.

Rugby league and Parra ftw.

Oh? And how many RL games end without a point scored for all that back and forth...?

That's a bit unfair...The soccer field is pretty big and they do play for 90 minutes.

Ice hokey...Yeah fair enough. They skate (not run) and they play on a smallish field. How is it they get away with scoreless games? :crazy:

Soccer is sh*thouse, but I am unashamed to bandwagon Italy during the WC. God I was happy when Italy beat Australia, so many oother bandwagoners crying on here, made for great entertainment.

Rugby league and Parra ftw.

My Dads Uraguyan and my Mums Maltese but by some strange twist of fate Dad hates soccer and Mum couldn't give two sh*ts about sport. Wogfail.
